On September 28th, Gabriele will head to The Old Smoke (London, that is…), to be precise to the Royal Geographical Society. The occasion? Why, that’s where the winners of  The Best Use of ARCHER Competition will be gathering for a well-deserved dinner.

ARCHER is a Tier-1 (that is, big. – very – big…) High Performance Computing (HPC) facility based in the UK. The success and the impact of DImEnsION @ Warwick depends on these HPC sites, as we  carry out massive molecular simulations at the very edge of what is computationally achievable – as we speak. In this respect, an award sounds like an excellent start!
