It feels good to be a part of something. It feels even better when said something is called “Faces of HPC<\/a>” – that is, an EPCC<\/a> initiative to celebrate\u00a0diversity in the High Performance Computing<\/a> community. As computational people, we believe it is important to be there and contribute to develop the community as much as we possibly can. This is a tiny thing – but ARCHER,\u00a0<\/a>and the phenomenal efforts driving this Tier-1 high performance computing facility), are huge. A good opportunity to celebrate, perhaps even to think about what’s next. Big questions in need of thousands of CPUs?
