Gabriele has been invited to take part in a genuinely exciting workshop titled “Artificial Intelligence in Medicines Discovery Workshop” held at the Alderley Park Conference Centre (nice spot…) on May 17th. This event is the result of the joined effort of KTN UK and Medicines Discovery Catapult, and featured an impressive array of contributions, from tensorial networks to targeting cancer – and all of that bringing together a diverse collection of people from a number of industrial realities (plus the odd academic *clears throat*). Yes, maybe the AI hype led way too many people to jump on this particular train, but there are important challenges to be tackled, there are opportunities to stand out and make a difference. Here in the SossoGroup, we’ll try and do our bit – one molecule at the time…
