Congratulations this week to “Team Ice” – a multidisciplinary collaboration with industry led by scientists here at Warwick including myself, Rebecca Notman, Matthew Gibson and Tom Whale – who have won the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Chemistry Biology Interface Division Horizon Prize.
Team Ice work on developing chemical tools for understanding how ice forms, with a direct focus on cryopreservation. These advances have a direct impact on areas including the development and delivery of emerging medicines.
